Two years ago, a glittery-eyed Karlie Kloss donned a unique makeup look for L’Oreal’s Gold Obsession party in France. While the look may have been more appropriate on the runway, Karlie opted to rock it for a night out in the romantic city of Paris.
The American model was photographed arriving for the event in a black-and-gold ensemble at the French National Money Institution in Paris.

Karlie showed up at the gold-themed party ironically in a black Brandon Maxwell heavy georgette foldover gown. The gown had Brandon Maxwell’s signature origami-like style at the bodice, which tapered down to reveal a sexy thigh-high slit on the skirt.
The model kept the gold theme going with her accessories, wearing statement jewelry by Jennifer Fisher and the Giuseppe Zanotti “Darcie” sandals in metallic leather.

Karlie amped up her makeup to fit with the gold theme as well. The model used L’Oreal products to create a trail of glitter at the outer corners of her eyes, met by burgundy tones and jet black eyeliner. We’re not a fan of the glitter with her outfit, but hey, the point of the night was makeup. We get it.
Overall, we think Karlie was a hot mess yet again. We have yet to see the model dress to her full potential, usually falling short with combinations that feel to us like she’s being held back by her stylist.

Karlie styled her gorgeous heels with a sleeveless double-slit metallic gown from the Elie Saab Resort 2019 Collection. She accessorized with Wempe earrings, a Sanjay Kasliwal bracelet, and a Judith Leiber clutch.
