Daisy Ridley has been keeping a low profile lately, but only because she’s working hard on her upcoming film “Peter Rabbit.” Of course, we shouldn’t oversee the fact that she’s gearing up to promote “Star Wars: The Last Jedi” — the 8th installment in the series — as the film is currently in post-production.
Even though she was mostly behind-the-scenes for the awards season, Daisy resurfaced at the British Academy of Film and Television Arts (BAFTA) Awards to present “Best Visuals.”

Daisy looked gorgeous in a unique one-shoulder dress by Roland Mouret. The dress consisted of geometrical shapes in white, maroon and black, which were livened up with blue patches of floral prints. The dress is a bit of deviation from the designers usual style, save for the signature neckline and strap silhouette.
The actress polished her red carpet look with a Jimmy Choo clutch, jewelry from Cartier, and a pair of Jimmy Choo “Tower” ankle strap mesh pumps in black.

Daisy seemed to enjoy her short stint at the prestigious awards night, which included plucking the winner’s card from an acrobat that descended from the ceiling. The actress presented with hunky “Beauty and the Beast” actor Luke Evans.
The “Star Wars” leading lady expressed her sorrow over the loss of Carrie Fisher, saying that the two had spent a lot of time together and her death was just “horrific.” Daisy said it would be nice to reunite with the cast to commemorate the late actress.
