Brie Larson may seem all stiff and serious — especially considering her recent Casey Affleck Oscars snub — but as it turns out, the actress knows how to let her hair down. Brie’s “Kong: Skull Island” co-stars Samuel L. Jackson and Tom Hiddleston shared just how the infamous “Brie-kends” came to be.
The actress was spotted arriving outside the AOL Building, which was just one of her many stops during the New York promotional leg for her “Kong: Skull Island.”

Brie kept things classic with the “Adriana” leather bag by Giuseppe Zanotti.
Brie took a break from her usual classic or bold colors, opting for some pastels to welcome spring instead. The actress wore a lavender multiple buckle-embellished dress by Carven topped with an oversized pink trench coat.
So as not to keep things too girly, Brie accessorized her outfit with the black “Adriana” leather bag from Giuseppe Zanotti and a menswear-inspired pair of platform loafers from Tod’s.

Pretty in pink: Brie opted for sweet colors for her promotional tour.
Brie said that during filming, she would ask her “Kong: Skull Island” co-stars to go on all sorts of adventures with her, including go-karting, laser tag, riding electric animals through a mall and even a water puppet show in Vietnam.
The actress sullenly shared that she was not able to go to the Dracula Dinner Show because no one wanted to go with her. “The poster didn’t look appetizing,” Samuel L. Jackson hilariously quipped.
