8 Amazing Boots and Shoes From the Country Music Awards

All the country stars rocked the red carpet on April 7 at MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas for the 48th Annual Academy of Country Music Awards. We saw it all — long gowns, pantsuits, hi-lo hems, and the equally surprising shoe selection. Take a look at what we’re talking about.

1. Faith Hill in Christian Dior Spring 2013

Faith Hill looked elegant in her black lace ensemble. Her Dior strappy sandals had a pop of pink that added a little flair to the whole outfit.

2. Shania Twain in Thigh-High Boots

Shania Twain walked confidently in her black strapless dress and black thigh-high boots. The combination didn’t impress us much, but the boots sure did.

Mustang Sally Band’s Tobi Lee went for bold and bright. We love her cherry-colored peep-toe booties! We only wish she toned down her outfit a little. What about you?

Miranda Lambert was a winner that night. We give her a gold star for her shoe pick, too — crystal-embellished mesh booties. Can’t say the same for her outfit though.

Bold colors are all over the place, and Karen Fairchild of Little Big Town knows it. She paired her knotted fuchsia peep toes with a black dress, which is the right move when wearing statement shoes.

8. Carrie Underwood in Jimmy Choo Freya

Carrie Underwood was gorgeous in her Naem Khan long gown. She wore Jimmy Choo black suede peep toe sandals with an embellished ankle strap under it. We love them, even if we can’t see them on her. We’re not sure why she’s hiding those fabulous shoes.
