After causing quite a stir with her controversial blush-colored gown from Prada at last year’s Academy Awards, Anne Hathaway came back and struck a fierce pose on the red carpet at the recently concluded awards ceremony. The 31-year-old actress looked like a feisty princess-in-shining-armor in head-to-toe Gucci. She wore a black silk crepe gown, which features a halter neck, a column skirt, a stunning crystal-embroidered bodice, a slim silhouette, an open back, and a flirty slit that showed off her black patent leather pumps. She finished off her look with minimal makeup, diamond jewelry from Neil Lane, and a black plexiglass clutch from Gucci.

Since parting ways with her longtime stylist, Rachel Zoe, Anne has been spotted in fresher and more edgy ensembles. After consistently dazzling on the red carpet with her romantic looks and quiet elegance, the Les Misérables star seemed to be opting for modern sophistication and glamour. We can’t wait to see what the stunning actress will wear next.

The Oscar-winning actress presented the award for Best Supporting Actor to Jared Leto, who looked striking in his white evening jacket and black tuxedo pants from Saint Laurent. Both stars hung out at the press room, with the ‘Dallas Buyers Club’ actor tightly clutching his golden statue.

Later that night, Anne was spotted looking gorgeous as usual at the 2014 Vanity Fair Oscar Party in West Hollywood. This time, she wore a monochromatic strapless column gown from Viktor & Rolf, which showed off her flawless skin and toned back.

Her dress features a structured bodice, a slim silhouette, and a slit on the back that showcased her toned legs and black satin “Daphne” pumps from Charlotte Olympia. She put the finishing touches to her look with minimal makeup, the “Paint Box” clutch from Roger Vivier, and an assortment of diamond jewels from Neil Lane, which include a pair of gorgeous emerald and platinum studs.

One of the most delightful moments at the party was seeing Jared Leto photobomb a seemingly oblivious Anne Hathaway. Still wearing his Saint Laurent suit and clutching his golden statue, the ‘Thirty Seconds to Mars’ front man jumped from behind and made silly faces as Anne posed for photographs. The radiant actress eventually realized what was going on and shared a laugh with her fellow Oscar winner.
