Reese Witherspoon‘s daughter, Ava Elizabeth Phillippe, turned 18 in high-society style at Le Bal des Débutantes, also referred to as “le Bal” or formerly known as the “Crillon Ball,” an elegant debutante ball and fashion extravaganza that takes place annually in Paris during November. She celebrated her 18th birthday on September 9, 2017.
The event gathers approximately 20 to 25 young debutantes, aged between 16 to 22, hailing from various countries, accompanied by their parents. An equal number of young men also attend the ball.
Originally established as a social gathering, the first le Bal des Débutantes was hosted at the Orangery of the Château de Versailles on July 10, 1958.

The blonde teen, who is the exact lookalike of her famous mother, added Hollywood glamour to the by-invitation-only event in a Giambattista Valli Spring 2017 couture long-sleeved ball gown constructed out of black honeycomb netting layered over gold polka-dot fabric.

Ava might’ve had a fairy-tale princess coming-out party, but she’s just like the rest of us when it comes to wearing high heels.

While waiting for the debutante ball to start, she removed her towering black platform heels in The Peninsula Hotel’s foyer. She then slipped on a pair of white hotel slippers and gave her feet rest to prepare for a night of posing and dancing.

Holding heels in your hand might not be the most elegant sight, but we completely understand the need to slip out of killer heels even for just a quick moment.

We’re only about 80 percent sure, but Ava Phillippe’s shoes appear to be the Christian Louboutin “Louloudancing” platform sandals.
Note the square buckles, the pointed tapered ends of the ankle straps, and the thickness of the heels and the platforms.

Reese Witherspoon also wore a black Giambattista Valli dress and Christian Louboutin “Marchavekel” knotted sandals, which amplifies our suspicion that Ava’s shoes are Louboutins.
