Head Turners at the MTV Movie Awards

Head Turners at the MTV Movie Awards

Though last week’s MTV Movie Awards was not exactly 100% sartorially satisfying, a few of the celebs did nail their red carpet looks (though we could  only count them with 10 fingers). In terms of shoes, majority of the best dressed actually wore classic pumps; to name a few – Emma Watson, Kristen Stewart, and Emma Stone. However, some notable ones did make the effort to wear head turning heels. Here are 3 of those ladies:

Emma Watson Lancome Paris Photo Shoot in D&G Dolce & Gabbana Suede and Mesh Peep Toe Booties

Emma Watson has recently been named as the new face of Lancome cosmetics. This is on top of her other duties as a model slash actress slash designer which include designing a collection for Alberta Ferretti, modeling for the Burberry Spring/Summer 2010 campaign, filming “My Week with Marilyn” and of course, wrapping up her role as Hermione in the last installment of “Harry Potter”.

It must’ve been a difficult choice for Emma Watson to put her college education at Brown University ...Read more

Steven by Steve Madden Yodel Pumps

Steven by Steve Madden Yodel Pumps

We’re being overrun by the clog trend these days. We’ve seen practically every variation of clogs from clog ankle strap heels to clog platforms to a clog variation of ankle cuff sandal booties. But apparently, we haven’t seen everything yet because here comes another one – a clog pump slash clog ankle bootie hybrid from Steven by Steve Madden:

So these ones are clogs combined with those weird labia boots from 2008. What are labia boots you ask?

Well, some of ...Read more

5 Leopard Print Shoes to Keep You Fierce & Fabulous For Fall

5 Leopard Print Shoes to Keep You Fierce & Fabulous For Fall

So while the rest of man-kind (save for Chris Brown and Scott Disick) opted out on the leopard print trend, a lot of women have embraced it.

Leopard may look bad on guys, but on girls, it has an entirely opposite effect. It can make a woman look fierce and fabulous. Put her in a pair of leopard print shoes and you instantly transform her into a vixen.

It is going to be hot for fall, but judging by the number of ...Read more

Lindsay Lohan in Topshop Praline High Loafer Shoes

Though the 2010 Emmy Awards have come and gone, the outfits at that event are usually conventional and the shoes are, let’s face it, uninspirational. I had already resigned myself to the fact that there wouldn’t be any celebrity shoe spots again for today when in comes Lindsay Lohan in a pair of cute Topshop loafers:

I have to admit that I’ve never really been a fan on LiLo’s style but she’s ...Read more

Zappos’ 5 Most Expensive Shoes Not So Expensive Anymore

Zappos’ 5 Most Expensive Shoes Not So Expensive Anymore

This is a follow-up on The 5 Most Expensive Shoes on Zappos.com Right Now post I did about two months ago, just to check and see how much these shoes cost now.

It’s probably not surprising that majority of these shoes are now on sale, given that they’re last season and Zappos is making way for the new arrivals. But even with the huge discounts, these shoes are still ranking on the first page of the highest-priced items on Zappos, outpricing ...Read more

The 5 Most Expensive Shoes on Zappos.com Right Now

The 5 Most Expensive Shoes on Zappos.com Right Now

I thought it’d be fun to do “most expensive” lists like this once in a while, not so that we can torture ourselves looking at things we can’t possibly afford, but so that we can laugh at how ridiculously priced some things are. Luxury items are sometimes priced so way out there that it makes you want to laugh at their designers… unless, you actually have the means to buy such things and if you do, then we officially envy ...Read more

How Much Would You Pay for Worn Out Distressed Shoes?

How Much Would You Pay for Worn Out Distressed Shoes?

Distressed clothes are nothing new and have become a mainstay on clothing store racks. It was in fact a point of contention for denim jean brands in the early 00s when expensive distressed jeans became the in thing, but the hole-y, ripped, and tattered jean eventually became accepted when people started realizing how well they fit.

But on shoes – well, distressing shoes are entirely different from distressing jeans. The denim jean is the king of all casual getups so while ...Read more
