I’ve been on the hunt for a couple of pairs of pumps that are subtle enough to wear to meetings or interviews, but have plenty of interest and detail. I’m always envious of Alexa Chung’s ensembles, especially her shoe collection. She was recently spotted on Late Night with Jimmy Fallon wearing these ‘Runway’ point toe Mary Jane pumps. I love Alexa’s look here. Pairing these metallic heels with opaque black tights keeps the look really chic and sophisticated. Once again, I’m smitten with an Alexa Chung creation. For some reason, that I can’t exactly put my finger on, I love the ‘Natalia’ from Mark & James by Bagdley Mischka. My favorite of the three color options is the ivory. I love the orange strap and gold heel paired with the soft ivory leather. I’d probably reserve these for warmer weather and pair them with pretty sundresses and distressed denim and T’s.
