Quick! Check Out the ‘Edie’ from Penelope and Coco!

Quick! Check Out the ‘Edie’ from Penelope and Coco!

Today I was introduced to the ‘Edie’ from Penelope and Coco and it was pretty much love at first sight. I have never seen a Dalmatian print shoe that I would actually wear, so much to my surprise I fell in love with this pair. I could see the ‘Edie’ worn with jeans as well as tights and skirts or dresses.

I think she would be fun to pair with punk inspired accessories like excessive studded bracelets or a leather skirt. ...Read more

Express Your Love This Valentine’s Day with Some Red Hot RED Shoes!

Express Your Love This Valentine’s Day with Some Red Hot RED Shoes!

Initially, I was inspired to write an entry about red heels after seeing this picture of Chloe Moretz attending the National Board of Review Awards Gala, which took place early this month. The red trench dress is cute, but it’s her sandals that I am crazy about. Those red glittered heels (from Miu Miu) are simply gorgeous! And I know this may be out of the blue, but they kind of remind me of Dorothy’s red shoes (Wizard of Oz, ...Read more

Ash Shoes at MyHabit Until Tuesday Jan. 3rd at 9 am PT!

I love opening up my inbox to reveal that MyHabit is having another sale event that involves shoes. Today they began featuring Ash brand shoes and boots for a fraction of the original retail price. I’ve been stalking a couple pairs of ash leather sneakers myself. I love the edgy tomboyish feel of the brand. Each pair in this collection has that tough vibe that I love about their sneakers.

Take a peek at a few of the styles from this ...Read more

Fergie Glams Up in the Fergie Gatsby

You can now find Fergie shoes at Nordstrom. Yup, the BEP lead vocalist debuted her footwear line at Nordstrom last week. For the launch event, Fergie wore three (3) of fall’s favorites – purple, leather, AND, leopard print. Her separates included a silk blouse (in purple) and some shorts (in leather), while a pair of leopard print lace-ups stylishly capped off her look. Suffice to say, she was pretty glam in the outfit. Check out pictures of Fergie below:

Would You Walk in These Ice Skate – Inspired Shoes from DSQUARED2?

Since we’re all about shoes here, why not cover ice skate inspired shoes? Yes, you heard that right, ice skate – inspired; NOT ice skates. The same brand who brought us those skeleton heels last year have now come up with an even crazier design – meet the DSQUARED2 Pump Milly Abrasivato. It’s a pair that features blade-like details at the bottom. The shoes are pretty normal looking – oxfords with perforated accents, hidden platforms of about 2.5 inches thick, ...Read more

Interesting New Fall/Winter Trend: Metal Plates on Shoes’ Toes and Heels

Here’s an interesting new trend we’re tracking the rise of this fall/winter season: metal plates on shoes’ toes and/or heels.

The “O.G.” of this trend is of course none other than Fendi with their luxe shoe styles emblazoned with the now iconic double F logo plates:

Fendi Fendista shearling booties, $995.00 at Nordstrom

Fendi Fendista open toe platform pumps, $715.00 at Nordstrom

Then along came Alexander McQueen with his Fall 2011 collection which included metal plate-inserted shoes such as this grey suede platform pump we ...Read more

Make a Statement in the Celebrity Designed ‘Go For Brogue’ from ShoeDazzle

ShoeDazzle has just released another celebrity designed shoe and it’s even hotter than the last. The ‘Go For Brogue’ is designed by Carson Kressley and proceeds will help support liver disease awareness and education. I love the super trendy black and white color palette and the spectator inspired details really make the heel feel very polished and prim.

I’d pair the ‘Go For Brogue’ with slim black trousers and a tailored top for an ultra chic and sophisticated feel. You could ...Read more
