Here’s an interesting new trend we’re tracking the rise of this fall/winter season: metal plates on shoes’ toes and/or heels.

The “O.G.” of this trend is of course none other than Fendi with their luxe shoe styles emblazoned with the now iconic double F logo plates:

Check out a pregnant Amy Smart attending the Tribeca Film Festival in this picture. I’m quite glad to see that even with her growing belly, she made an effort to look on-trend with that bright blue trapeze dress.
