Toni Braxton, born as Toni Michele Braxton in Severn, Maryland, U.S., on October 7 in the late 1960s, is a multifaceted American talent known for her roles as a singer, songwriter, pianist, record producer, actress, television personality, and philanthropist.
Her African-American heritage is rooted in her parents, with her father, Michael Conrad Braxton, hailing from Maryland and serving as a Protestant minister.
