Chloë Grace Moretz, who earlier this year was announced as the face of Coach’s new Dreamers campaign, tried to nail the black and white game at the 2015 Met Gala held at the Metropolitan Museum of Art on Monday in New York City.

She paraded her legs on the red carpet with British fashion designer Stuart Vevers, who was announced as the new executive creative director at American label Coach on June 25, 2013.

The 18-year-old American actress and model came dressed in a short sleeveless Coach number. She accessorized with a Monique Pean bracelet and necklace, and Repossi jewelry.

While youthful and fun, her ensemble was rather underwhelming compared to other guests at the Met Gala. Unfortunately, we don’t have anything positive to say about her ankle-strap sandals.

While the outfit would have been great for an MTV Awards show, it did not feel right at the Chinese themed MET Gala. Better luck next year?
