Chloe Moretz and Jennifer Westfeldt Stun in Matching Lace Dresses at The Library Opening Night Party

In April 2014, Chloë Grace Moretz and Jennifer Westfeldt attended the opening night party for their off-Broadway play The Library. The two ladies were dressed similarly in two-tone black-and-white lace frocks and ankle-strap heels.

The Library is a 2014 play written by Scott Z. Burns and directed by Steven Soderbergh. It stars Chloe Moretz as Caitlin Gabriel, a high-school student who survives a deadly shooting at her school.

The play explores the aftermath of the shooting as Caitlin struggles to tell her story to her parents, the authorities, and anyone who will listen. Jennifer Westfeldt played the role of Caitlin’s mother, Linda Gabriel.

Let’s take a look at both looks.

The younger of the two, Chloe, wore a long-sleeved knee-length dress from Carven featuring white lace over a red and black layer underneath.

The “Carrie” star paired the dress with simple Chanel heels.

Jennifer went sexy and sultry with a fitted number that was fashioned with a deep neckline.

Chloe Moretz and Jennifer Westfeldt have an age difference of 27 years. Moretz was born on February 10, 1997, and Westfeldt was born on July 2, 1970. They played mother and daughter in the off-Broadway play The Library in 2014.

So, who looks better? And whose ankle-strap heels do you like more, Chloe’s Chanel heels or Jennifer’s mystery sandals?

Regardless, we think both looks are worth copying.

You can try this combination using a $73 dress from Kensie and some ankle-strap sandals from Ivanka Trump to channel Chloe’s look.
