Elle Fanning has been busy promoting her latest film, 20th Century Women. After attending a screening in New York earlier this week, the actress landed sans shoes at LAX for a movie screening in San Rafael, California.

The Maleficent actress explained on Instagram that her feet were too swollen to fit in her heels, and she didn’t have a backup in her carry-on upon arrival at LAX. Hence, the decision to go barefoot.
