It’s awards season once again, and one of the films that stood out for critics and the general public was “Lady Bird.” Written and directed by Greta Gerwig, this semi-autobiographical coming-of-age film garnered critical praise and a slew of accolades. Its clever writing, stunning direction and phenomenal performances made it an early favorite and a front-runner for all the major awards.
Just this week, “Lady Bird” triumphed at the New York Film Critics Circle Awards. It won Best Picture, as well as Best Actress for Saoirse Ronan’s stellar performance in the lead role. Both Greta and Saoirse were in attendance at the awards ceremony, donning white outfits and Christian Louboutin heels. Their white ensembles were the perfect prelude to the all-black protest dress code at this year’s Golden Globe Awards.

Saoirse Ronan in Calvin Klein ensemble and Christian Louboutin “Douce du Desert” pumps
Meanwhile, Saoirse went for modern elegance in a menswear-inspired jacket from Calvin Klein. Her white suit jacket featured a double-breasted silhouette, satin lapels and a loose fit. Saoirse styled it with black ankle-length pants from the same designer and multicolored earrings from David Webb.
She capped off her look with a vampy dark lip and hot pink Christian Louboutin pumps for a pop of color.

The 23-year-old award-winning actress wore the “Douce du Desert” pumps in hot pink satin-crepe. These shoes feature a pointy-toe silhouette, high heels, and the luxury label’s signature red lacquered soles. They also have wide ribbon ties that wrap around the ankles for a dramatic finish.
