We think it’s safe to say Jennifer Lawrence is pretty heavily invested in her latest film “Mother!” Not only does the 27-year-old play a central role in the film, her boyfriend, filmmaker Darren Aronofsky, happens to be the director and writer of the piece.

Even though Jennifer has been consecutively nailing her red carpet looks time after time lately, this one just doesn’t quite do it for us.
Jennifer slipped into a very confusing two-piece outfit from Dolce & Gabbana. The bustier top was made of lace, and was embellished in front with a large ribbon. The skirt, while beautifully embellished, just didn’t work with the top. What a waste of time meticulously placing those crystals.
The actress finished up her look with Anita Ko earrings, a Penny Preville choker, a Beladora ring and a pair of Roger Vivier crystal heel sandals.
Jennifer wears a winged eyeliner look to go with her eclectic outfit.
Despite being in a hurry, Jennifer made sure to sign autographs and take pictures with her fans.
The actress gushed about how nice Darren is, even joking that he probably had some evil side tucked within him.
Jennifer said she admired Darren for creating films he believed in, not just creating films to sell.
Darren also had nothing but words of praise for his leading lady.
