Once again, a stunning pair of shoes saves the day. In this case, Kim Kardashian’s day.
The reality TV star recently appeared on Late Night with Seth Meyers wearing a sheer lace dress with just her unmentionables underneath. Now, we’re not prude people here. And to be honest, we love Kim.
But we’re now wondering what went through her head when she decided not to wear a slip (or a bodysuit at least) with the outfit.

We’ve seen other celebrities style the sheer look with taste. Kim’s rendition, on the other hand, was a huge miss. The look was not appropriate for her curvaceous figure. Period.
Thankfully, Kim managed to save herself from total embarrassment by wearing some standout shoes. The moment we spotted her lace-up heels, we instantly forgot about the dress.
They were intriguing and stunning all at once. Here’s Kim in her golden heels when she headed out to dinner with Kanye right after making the TV appearance.

It’s hard to appreciate the shoes with the above pictures alone, so allow us to show you the dark brown version up close (we could not find the gold). Kim’s intricately woven shoes are from Tom Ford.
They’re crafted from Nappa leather and feature leather lace-up closures that wrap all the way up to the ankles. The metallic heels of these shoes measure 4.5 inches tall.
And while they look a lot like sandals because of the open-toe design, the silhouette actually follows that of peep-toe pumps — only with a little extra.

This new style from Tom Ford is very fascinating to look at. We’ve never seen anything like it before, so we are quite captivated by its unique design and exceptional details. We’re guessing the gold pair on Kim would be even more entrancing.
A similar yet less expensive style is quite hard to find, but here’s an alternative from Sam Edelman that you may consider if you’re after the woven detail rather than the silhouette.
