The biographical crime drama film directed by Ridley Scott is “inspired by the shocking true story of the family empire behind the Italian fashion house of Gucci. Spanning three decades of love, betrayal, decadence, revenge, and ultimately murder, we see what a name means, what it’s worth, and how far a family will go for control.”

It is based on the widely acclaimed 2001 book The House of Gucci: A Sensational Story of Murder, Madness, Glamour, and Greed by Sara Gay Forden that you can buy on Amazon.

Lady Gaga portrays Patrizia Reggiani, ex-wife of Maurizio Gucci, in the film. “I will be fully honest and transparent: I lived as her [Reggiani] for a year and a half. And I spoke with an accent for nine months of that,” Gaga told British Vogue about her role. “Off camera [too]. I never broke. I stayed with her.”

“It was nearly impossible for me to speak in the accent as a blonde,” she continued to the outlet. “I instantly had to dye my hair, and I started to live in a way whereby anything that I looked at, anything that I touched, I started to take notice of where and when I could see money. I started to take photographs as well. I have no evidence that Patrizia was a photographer, but I thought as an exercise, and finding her interests in life, that I would become a photographer, so I took my point-and-shoot camera everywhere that I went. I noticed that Patrizia loved beautiful things. If something wasn’t beautiful, I deleted it.”

Tony Bennett is a much-respected legend in the music industry. The music legend — famous for classic hits like “Because of You” and “I Left My Heart in San Francisco” — even has celebrity fans.

And one of Tony’s biggest fans — Lady Gaga — who in August 2016 made sure she did what she could to honor the musician on his 90th birthday.

To celebrate Tony Bennett’s 90th birthday in New York, she donned a black Carolina Herrera crepe dress that crossed at the back and cut low at the sides.

The pop star matched the dress with a hat by Eric Javits and slipped into a pair of Brian Atwood “Tribeca” platform heels to finish the look.

Gaga was later spotted changing into her performance attire which showed off a great deal of leg. The then 30-year-old’s second outfit was a velvet strapless number by Brandon Maxwell that curved upward at the chest and dipped low in the back.

The music icon still wore her Brian Atwood “Tribeca” heels with her second outfit.

The legendary night would not be complete without Lady Gaga singing happy birthday alongside the incredible Stevie Wonder.

Music icon Paul McCartney was also among the high profile stars to honor the great Tony Bennett on his milestone.
