I’m rarely attracted to white shoes (except maybe on certain sneakers and tennis shoes), but I couldn’t tear my eyes off these Fianna open toe ballet flats from Me Too:

I think it’s because they remind me of this red and white carnation Oscar de la Renta dress Rihanna wore to the Brit Awards 2011 last February 15th:

Which subconsciously imprinted 0n my mind and made me subconsciously love it.

Thus, the sudden uncharacteristic attraction to white shoes.

I think I’m beginning to sound like I’m being defensive about liking white shoes, but you can judge and see these Me Too Fianna flats for yourself:

They’re cute, dainty and even kind of retro-ish with that square pleat at the toe. But no matter how cute they are, I’ve never been good at maintaining white shoes so I’m going to have to give this a pass.

The Me Too Fiannas come in black too by the way, for those who also love everything about them except the white color:

They also come in black patent and nude patent, but there’s nothing much to be excited much about plain ballet flats.

Ready to give these a go in spring?
