Melissa Benoist graced The Paley Center for Media’s 2017 PaleyFest presentation of The CW’s “Heroes & Aliens” at Dolby Theatre in Hollywood on Saturday. The 28-year-old actress, who plays the titular character in “Supergirl,” left us scratching our heads over the outfit she decided to wear for the event.
Okay, so maybe her black-and-maroon Chinese-inspired silk top and cropped trousers were appropriate for the casual comic book-themed occasion, and maybe they were a much-needed break from her spandex superhero costume. But they just look too much like pajamas to us. And to take it a step further, Melissa paired the unsightly outfit with ugly red suede pumps that featured oddly-shaped toe boxes and weird block heels.
