Nicholas Kirkwood’s Sexy Shoes for the 2012 Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show (Part 1)

Between designing his massive spring 2013 collection and his even bigger pre-spring 2013 collection (not to mention his recent collaborations with other designers, such as Peter Pilotto and Karl Lagerfeld for Fendi), Nicholas Kirkwood managed to find time to design custom shoes for last Wednesday’s 2012 Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show.

We don’t know how he does it and where he comes up with all of his creations, but Nicholas Kirkwood is a bona fide rock star in the shoe world.

This year’s Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show themes — “Circus,” “Toy Pink,” “Dangerous Liaisons,” “Silver Screen,” “Calendar Girls,” and “Angels in Bloom” — must’ve helped Nicholas Kirkwood conjure up designs for the ultimate lingerie event. He also stayed true to “Victoria’s Secret way” of being sexy, flirty, and girly.

Strappy sandals, lace-up booties, and glittery and shiny finishes abound, but Kirkwood also designed cute ice-skate-inspired stiletto booties for sporty chicas. Our favorite? The standout gold-embroidered thigh-high boots worn by VS Fashion Show queen Adriana Lima.

Below are some of the sexy shoes Nicholas Kirkwood designed for the 2012 Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show, arranged according to the models who wore them.

Check out Part 2 for more of these thrilling shoes.

(Note that we had to exclude some models who only wore a different color of the same shoes, but we also couldn’t help including repeated shoes because the outfit styled with them were just too cute!)
