Nicole Kidman joined Kate Mara at the Women in Film 2015 Crystal + Lucy Awards at the Hyatt Regency Century Plaza on Tuesday in Los Angeles, California.

The 47-year-old Australian actress and film producer fell foul of a disastrous makeup job and was pictured with heavy powder all over her face. Her forehead, cheeks and nose were literally plastered with pale powder that stood out against her darker skin tone.

Nicole donned a glittering multicolored number from the Nina Ricci Fall 2015 collection featuring all-over sequins. While we love her striking dress, the reptilian Brian Atwood “Avice” sandals did not complement her outfit at all. Do you agree that she should have worn a different pair of shoes?

Do you think Nicole Kidman should fire her makeup artist? Do you remember when Angelina Jolie suffered a similar white powder makeup malfunction?
