Rita Ora in Geta-Inspired Y-3 Wedge Sandals in Tokyo

At the beginning of 2014, adidas announced its partnership with Rita Ora for the adidas Originals fall and winter 2014 collection. On Friday, the 23-year-old British singer flew to Tokyo for the launch of her first sportswear collection with the company.

The “I Will Never Let You Down” singer debuted some pieces from her clothing line for the event. She flaunted her flat abs in a floral crop top and a pair of matching pants. The rather sexy yet sporty outfit was styled with gold jewelry and a bright red choker that matched her signature red lipstick and nail polish.

This ensemble is perfect for sporty-chic ladies. We also love the matching hoodie that she’s wearing in the Instagram photo below.

Rita completed her sporty outfit with a pair of towering wedges instead of sneakers! The silhouette is inspired by the Japanese geta slippers, which is perhaps why she chose to wear them in Tokyo. They have block-shaped PU platforms and wedge heels that measure about 2.5 and 6 inches tall, respectively. Crisscross mesh straps, buckled leather ankle straps, and a bold print at the side that says “Hi! My Name Is Yohji” complete these unique sandals.
