Last Monday was Hollywood producer Joel Silver’s Memorial Day party. The annual celebration has become some kind of be-seen event among celebrities where the front porch of Joel Silver’s Malibu home — whether he likes it or not — turns into an impromptu red carpet for a day.
Casually dressed famous guests were snapped coming in and out of the party throughout the afternoon, and we spotted a handful wearing perfect-for-chilling-out shoes. Remember, this is Hollywood, so, yes, we’re going to consider Gwen Stefani‘s 5-inch-high cork wedges as chill-out shoes. We’re not sure, however, if we’re right to stretch the definition of “chill-out footwear” to include Kate Beckinsale‘s ankle-strap sandals — with a couture dress, those shoes are fancy enough for an actual red carpet event.
