Modern Family star Sofia Vergara was anything but modern when she was spotted hitting up a few stores in Beverly Hills in wide-flared jeans and a plain black tee.

The 40-year-old actress spent the afternoon shopping with her 20-year-old son Manolo, whom she had when she herself was of the same age. In an issue of OK Magazine last year, the sexy star was asked about her reaction when people mistake her as Manolo’s girlfriend.

“I love that! Especially when they say he’s my brother,” Sofia shared with OK Magazine.“But he hates it if I’m with him and someone says, ‘Oh tell your sister to come,’ and I don’t correct them. He’s like, ‘Tell them you’re my mom!’ But I don’t.”

The Colombian bombshell sported a tee from 3.1 Phillip Lim. The overlap shirt can easily be styled up with the right pair of jeans and accessories, but won’t fare so bad on its own either, thanks to its curved and uneven hem.
