Serena Williams was named the 2015 Sportsperson of the Year at Sports Illustrated’s Sportsperson of the Year Award Ceremony held at Pier 60 at Chelsea Piers in New York City on Monday.
The 34-year-old-old professional tennis player traded her tennis whites for a racy black dress that put her muscular body on display. She wore a lingerie-style lacy mini dress, which she teamed with a black floor-sweeping maxi skirt that was open in the front to reveal her toned legs.
Accessories were kept simple to let her dress and curves do the talking. She wore her short dark locks in tousled waves and added a pop of color to the look with red lipstick.

To complete her ensemble, Serena slipped on a pair of Christian Louboutin “Salopatina” pumps. They are made of mesh and feature patent leather trims, hematite crystal embellishments, t-straps and about four-inch heels.
