She is nominated for Best Actress this evening for her work in The Wife. It’s the seventh nomination for the 71-year-old actress and she has yet to win at the Oscars. Glenn is currently the most-nominated actor without a win!
Glenn donned a custom hand-embroidered gown from Carolina Herrera that weighs 42lbs. Designed by the brand’s creative director, Wes Gordon, it features almost four million glass bugle beads applied to an inner gown corset.

Her pale gold gown was assembled in both New York and Mumbai, India, with the assistance of more than 40 skilled craftsmen. She styled her dress with gold mirror leather Betty platform sandals by Giuseppe Zanotti.
