Meet the Top 10 Shoe Bloggers of October 2013

Before we officially say goodbye to October, let’s first have a look at this month’s top 10 shoe bloggers!

Although October is mostly about Halloween, our top 10 choices aren’t particularly Halloween-inspired. While we did pick some scaringly stylish shoes, many of them just instantly captured our eyes.

1. Liz Albuquerque from Sao Paulo, Brazil

Here’s Liz Albuquerque wearing a scary and fashionable pair of gothic-inspired wedges. These shiny polyurethane wedges in black and white feature a female skull print that’s perfect for Halloween. She paired them with a pink cardigan with a skull design.

This blogger has an eclectic style. See more of her on The Red Lil Shoes.

2. Micah Gianneli from Australia

Learn from Micah Gianneli if you prefer ensembles that showcase modern edge. This gal just knows how to do it flawlessly! She recently went for a simple outfit consisting of a white top, a white blazer, and tattered boyfriend jeans. It was, of course, to let her metallic heels do the talking.

Indeed, her golden sandals are this look’s focal point. They added edge and modern flair to her ensemble.

3. Jhai Gonzales from Philippines

A color combination of black, white, and gold never fails to create sophistication. Jhai Gonzales chose to show that elegance with a hint of playfulness through her unique sandals. They have skeleton-like heels that you’ve probably already seen from DSquared2! Scary? Beautiful? We love them!

This blogger isn’t afraid to express herself through fashion. Check out her different styles on We Are Dancing in the Water.

4. Mona Teo from Singapore

Neon for fall? Why not?! Mona Teo nailed it. This color-blocked ensemble consisting of a knit blue top, a gray maxi skirt with a thigh-high slit, and a pair of neon sandals is definitely eye-catching. Her heels can also work in spring and summer!

Mona has a lot of interesting looks posted on her blog, Mode Mayhem.

5. Erin Marie from New Jersey

Need some inspiration for a casual but chic look? Check out Erin Marie in this outfit that features a mixture of stripes and camouflage. Aside from the eye-catching pattern, her shoes, which seem to be crafted from patent leather, also caught our attention. They feature pointy toes that make them very edgy. Erin got them from Zara.

6. Alessandra Kamaile from Munich, Germany

We love Alessandra Kamaile’s entire outfit, but her shoes just really hit us — and in the right way. These very striking boots are perfect for the season. They feature fur material (most probably faux fur), wedge heels, and platforms with silver-tone plates that add a tough-chic appeal.

7. Kayla Hadlington from United Kingdom

Kayla Hadlington is never afraid to take fashion risks. Here you can see her in a cheerful fall outfit. She sported colorfully dyed hair and bright makeup, which included an unusual yellow lip shade. What also captured our eyes were her heels. “They are like magical red lego blocks of beautifulness,” she said. The color-blocking effect of her sandals could work for spring and summer as well. Don’t you find them interesting?

8. Laureen Uy from Manila, Philippines

Laureen Uy is a sexy vampiress in this black-and-red getup. She looked hot in a black maxi dress that features a thigh-high slit and cutout details at the waist. Adding those red details just perfected her oozing appeal. We couldn’t think of any other pair of shoes more suitable for this ensemble than her red-and-black pumps. They finished her look stylishly but without going over the top.

Go check out her blog, Break My Style, for much more!

9. Shalini Chopra from India

We can’t deny our love for animal prints. But while we’re drooling over Shalini Chopra’s fierce leopard mini dress, we also can’t help but notice her amazing yellow heels. They’re just so gorgeous, matching her yellow blazer pretty well. Although animal print is a classic choice, the geometric-like design of the heels gave Shalini’s entire getup a good dose of modern flair.

10. Audrey Tan from Singapore

Would you dare wear Audrey Tan’s sandals? They’re hard to miss, especially with that kind of heel and platform design. These shoes can toughen up any outfit in an instant.
