“Habits (Stay High)” is a song recorded by Swedish singer Tove Lo that was released in 2013 as a single from her debut extended play (EP) “Truth Serum.”
The song was written by Tove Lo and produced by The Struts and is known for its catchy melody and lyrics that address the theme of escapism through drug use.
The song’s music video was directed by Motellet Film and was released in March 2014. The video features Tove Lo wandering around a city at night, engaging in various hedonistic activities such as smoking, drinking, and taking drugs.
The video also features surreal imagery, such as Tove Lo floating in a pool filled with pink liquid and a giant rabbit head following her around.
A second music video for the song was released in 2015, directed by Tim Erem. This video features a more narrative storyline, in which Tove Lo attends a party and becomes infatuated with another woman. The video includes scenes of drug use and sexual content.

In August 2016, Tove Lo went against the norm and opted for a cool-girl look at the 2016 MTV Video Music Awards.
