Transparent Gold Sandals by Stuart Weitzman and Jeffrey Campbell

When it comes to sandals, I’m game to try anything. But what if the next big thing for the spring season is transparent gold sandals adorned with metallic details? Do you echo my thoughts on the “game to try anything” part?

In my case, I’d say yes! I know transparent sandals aren’t everyone’s cup of tea (I suppose not everyone feels like being Cinderella for a day or two), but the sandals below sure did appeal to my aesthetic sensibilities.

1. Stuart Weitzman ‘Nifty’ Sandals, $165.00

Stuart Weitzman offers this pair of t-bar sandals with nearly invisible soles and sides. The gold-tone leather t-bar strap adorned with gold studs created an elegant flair. And since these are flexible jelly sandals, I bet they will offer comfort as well.

2. Jeffrey Campbell ‘Puffer’ Sandals, $134.95

Jeffrey Campbell has another take on the transparent shoe trend. Unlike the previous sandals, this one has very visible soles and lining. It does have a transparent acrylic leaf adorned with metal flowers. It has a Greek-style vibe to it, don’t you think?

3. Jeffrey Campbell ‘Esme’ Sandals, $99.95

Who would have thought that simple slippers can turn into a statement piece? I actually like the idea of spicing up a no-nonsense spring outfit with slippers boasting of transparent straps and gold-tone bow detail.

The first pair I’d wear with a cute white or gold-tone adorned drop waist dress. The puffer sandals will go great with a top and high-waisted shorts combo. The last pair is an exciting option for the pants plus top combo.

You can pretty much try anything with these shoes. I think they can be dressed up and dressed down depending on the occasion.

So, what about you ladies? Would you wear these shoes or not?
