The Adam Project premiere was a star-studded affair with A-listers attending the event held at the Lincoln Center on Monday.
Joining lead actor Ryan Reynolds and his wife Blake Lively on the red carpet were Jennifer Garner and Mark Ruffalo, who are both portraying Ryan Reynold’s parents in the film.

The two have reunited for the sci-fi movie, which marked their first film together in 18 years. They played best friends and love interests in 13 Going On 30, which was one of the most iconic rom-com movies of 2004.

“We did 13 Going On 30, went on and had lives, families, and kids and all kinds of other stuff, and came back and it’s like, ‘Wow, what a journey we’ve taken,’ and here we are,” Mark Ruffalo told ET.
“It was lovely. It was really comforting to be together again, and I don’t think either of us realized how much we needed it and how great we feel,” Jennifer said of their reunion.

Mark also spoke to People, saying “it was like we picked up where we left off.”
“It was like Jenna and Matty went off and had Ryan Reynolds as a kid, and no one can understand how he got so tall.”
Unfortunately, Mark Ruffalo and Jennifer Garner didn’t stay in touch after the release of 13 Going on 30.
“We had a great time together, and I think we would, but then Ben [Affleck] came on the scene and that was the end of that,” Mark revealed during a 2014 episode of Andy Cohen’s Watch What Happens Live.
Andy replied jokingly, “I heard he doesn’t allow her to have male friends,” before adding, “I made that up!”

Looking every inch the glamorous movie star, the 49-year-old Miracles From Heaven actress donned a sophisticated black dress from Alexandre Vauthier, which is currently on sale for $2,819 (from $5,638) at Farfetch.
Her sleek cotton and wool blend gown showed off her toned arms with its halter design, which also features a structured collar, a slim fit, an open back, and a floor-length asymmetric skirt with a slit down the center front.

Styled by Jill Lincoln and Jordan Johnson, the Alias star coordinated with understated jewelry that included a diamond ring, a pair of $52,500 De Beers Swan Lake earrings, and a Vacheron Constantin Metiers D’art Kalla Haute Couture a Secret in 18k white gold and diamonds that costs over $700k.
Her chocolate brown tresses were coiffed in a chic textured updo, done by hairstylist Adir Abergel, while her features were highlighted with smokey eye-makeup and pink lipstick by Genevieve Herr.

Wearing vampy burgundy nail polish, Ben Affleck’s ex-wife rounded out her sensational look with Jimmy Choo’s “Bobbie” pumps.

The following day, Jennifer Garner stopped by Good Morning America to promote The Adam Project.
Continuing her classy-sophisticated style streak, the mom-of-three wore a lavender tweed mini dress that features overlapping panels on the skirt, a slight slit, and a frayed hem that’s cut a few inches above her knees.

She accessorized with diamond earrings and added height to her look with 4-inch navy suede pointed-toe pumps.
As for her beauty look, the Pearl Harbor star wore her brown hair down in chic side-parted waves and highlighted her natural beauty with soft pink makeup.
