The 71st Annual Golden Globe Awards served a feast for the senses. It was as much about the awards as it was about the clothes as A-list stars sauntered down the red carpet to showcase the best in high fashion. We’ve already seen Zoe Saldana’s controversial Prabal Gurung dress and Christian Louboutin heels, and we’ve spotted Taylor Swift at the Warner Bros. and InStyle Golden Globes after-party.
But the most buzzed-about look belonged to Emma Watson, who packed quite a punch with her red-hot Christian Dior Haute Couture dress. Cinched at the waist with a ribbon, the scarlet frock features short sleeves and a long, flowing skirt, which made it seem like such an uninspired choice for a prestigious awards ceremony. The British star offered a pleasant surprise when she turned around — the dress was backless all the way down. It would have been undeniably risqué had it not been for the black cigarette pants from Dior that she wore to cover up her derrière. This was such a bold sartorial choice and a risky move to make, but the 23-year-old successfully managed to push the envelope when it comes to dressing up for red carpet events.
Emma kept the focus on her sultry dress by styling her hair in a side-parted chignon. She finished off her look with red lips, an assortment of rings from Anito Ko and Repossi, and a single “Mise en Dior” pearl earring from Dior. We couldn’t get a good view of her shoes due to the length of her dress, but Emma was wearing the “Ergo Sexy” pumps from Roger Vivier.

The Roger Vivier heels added a sassy vibe to Emma’s sexy yet sophisticated look. They feature asymmetrical ankle straps, pointed toes, and gorgeous midnight blue suede. Unfortunately, these shoes are already sold out, but we did find a similar style with lower heels:

After making a stunning entrance in Dior at the awards ceremony, Emma Watson headed to the Warner Bros. and InStyle Golden Globe Awards after-party in a striking all-black ensemble. The British actress selected a beautiful floor-length dress from Theory, which features a plunging neckline, sheer panels, and gorgeous floral embellishments. She carried the “Lara” clutch from Edie Parker and wore an ear cuff from Repossi. Her hair was styled in a chic ponytail, and she finished off her look with a pair of “So Kate” pumps in black suede from Christian Louboutin.
