Politics is dividing everyone these days, and that includes celebrities.

As the United States presidential election draws closer, many celebrities opposed to Republican candidate Donald Trump have used their platforms to vocalize their criticism.

Take, for example, Jewel.

The singer attended what was supposed to be a Comedy Central roast for Rob Lowe but instead turned out to be a roast for Trump supporter Ann Coulter.

The singer showed off her ageless figure in a plunging black dress that revealed a bit of skin through a tasteful keyhole.

The 42-year-old wore her black outfit with a generous sprinkling of crystals on her ears, wrists, and fingers.

The singer-songwriter paired her LBD with the Rupert Sanderson “Irma” lace-up pumps.

Instead of targeting Rob Lowe, Jewel went for social and political commentator Ann Coulter, who was on the show to promote her book, “In Trump We Trust,” which you can buy on Amazon.

Jewel threw a few punches. With a smile on her face and her guitar in hand, Jewel made a few humorous remarks about Coulter, but one in particular stood out.

She quipped, “Jeff Ross is going to party like it’s 1999, Ann Coulter is going to vote like it’s 1899,” while looking at Coulter.

She followed it up with, “Ann, you do look great though. You’re almost as slim as Donald Trump’s chances of winning the election, so that’s pretty impressive.”

Ouch.

Political nasties aside, we love Jewel’s Rupert Sanderson “Irma” pumps. They’re unfortunately no longer available online.
