iCarly Fan Emma Stone Makes Guest Appearance in iFind Spencer Friends

In 2012, Emma Stone appeared on an episode of iCarly titled “iFind Spencer Friends.” The episode aired on October 20, 2012, when Emma Stone was 23 years old. She celebrated her 24th birthday on November 6, 2012.

Emma Stone’s cameo as Heather on iCarly has a fascinating backstory. In an appearance on The Tonight Show with Jay Leno, Emma shared the delightful tale of how her guest role on the show came to be.

It all started when Emma had the chance to meet Dan Schneider, the creator of iCarly, and the show’s cast at a Saturday Night Live afterparty.

During their encounter, Emma couldn’t contain her excitement and expressed her genuine admiration for iCarly, revealing herself as a big fan of the show.

Impressed by her enthusiasm, Dan Schneider invited Emma to make a special appearance on iCarly. Delighted by the offer, Emma gladly accepted the opportunity to participate in the show she loved so much.

In the scene, Emma’s character, Heather, spots Carly (Miranda Cosgrove) and her crew enjoying a meal at Fiddy’s Diner. Excited beyond belief, she accidentally drops her drink and exclaims, “Oh my god, oh my god, it’s iCarly. It’s iCarly!”

Emma rushes over to them and insists on taking pictures with the entire group. She even sits on Sam’s (Jennette McCurdy) lap to get a selfie, declares Spencer (Jerry Trainor) her favorite, and captures a photo with the titular Carly. Noticing that Gibby (Noah Munck) is missing from the group, she playfully dashes into the men’s bathroom to complete her selfies.

The enthusiastic encounter doesn’t stop there, as Emma’s character climbs on top of the table, much to the amusement of everyone around.

Eventually, the diner employees have to escort her out of the establishment, bringing this hilarious and endearing scene to a close.

iFind Spencer Friends is the 10th episode of Season 5 and the 104th episode of the American teen sitcom iCarly.

In January 2017, she beat out other Hollywood giants such as Meryl Streep, Natalie Portman, Amy Adams, and Emily Blunt. She won “Outstanding Performance by a Female Actor in a Lead Role” at the 23rd Screen Actors Guild Awards held in Los Angeles.

Emma stunned in a gorgeous Alexander McQueen dress that mixed the designer’s edgy style with a lot of femininity.

The dress had a flowy, floral-embroidered skirt that draped from one shoulder, revealing a lace bodice reminiscent of a corset.

The Easy A actress finished her look with jewelry from Tiffany & Co. and a pair of Jimmy Choo “Minny” sandals.

As eloquent as she was at the Golden Globes, the actress seemed overwhelmed as she took the stage to accept her award.

Emma also shared that when she first moved to Los Angeles, she would get a lot of auditions but no callback. For a long time, agents would stop sending her out for auditions. Just like her “La La Land” character, however, she persevered.
