Alyssa Milano Makes a Pinky Promise to Help Impoverished Children at the UNICEF Ball in Jimmy Choo ‘Abel’ Pumps

It’s not exactly a secret that Alyssa Milano has been working with UNICEF for a while now, even having visited India about a decade ago to bring awareness to the living conditions of a post-tsunami community.

This time, the 43-year-old American actress, producer and former singer is using social media to get people on board as she and her husband make a pinky promise to help impoverished children.

Alyssa Milano arrived at the UNICEF x Louis Vuitton ball, where celebrities gathered to pledge and help raise funds for children in need. The starlet wore a dress by Alice + Olivia, jewelry by John Hardy and the Jimmy Choo “Abel” pumps.

Now, we know what you’re thinking: Why spend thousands of dollars on an outfit that you could have just used to help the children? First — as superficial as it may sound — getting the attention of the higher consumer market can help bring in people who are able to give more to UNICEF. And second? Most of the outfits are on loan by celebrity stylists anyway. Yep.

Alyssa uploaded an adorable photo of she and her husband doing the pinky promise. The Louis Vuitton x UNICEF #makeapromise campaign has currently spread across different countries, many thanks to the celebrities who helped promote the cause.
