Dreams do come true. After her first track flopped in 2011 with “Put Your Hearts Up“, as a result of restricted creative control, Ariana Grande has since learned to trust her instincts and fight for what she wants.
Ultimately, this resulted into her bagging the Favorite Female Artist Award (Pop/Rock) at the 2015 American Music Awards, which was held in Los Angeles.
The artist was seen trying to fight back tears both on stage and in the press room as she held the AMA trophy in her hand.
Ariana wore a combination Giambattista Valli haute couture dress with the “Queen Mary” jeweled heels by DSquared2. The singer finished her look with jewelry from Lydia Courteille.
