Ryan Reynolds voiced the titular protagonist Theo in the 2013 American 3D computer-animated sports comedy film Turbo. Theo is a garden snail who dreams of becoming a race car driver.

He is accidentally exposed to nitrous oxide and gains the ability to move at super speed. He then sets out to compete in the Indianapolis 500.

Turbo was a commercial disappointment for DreamWorks Animation. It grossed $282.6 million worldwide, but it cost $127 million to produce and DreamWorks Animation spent over $150–175 million to market it. This means that the film lost money for the studio.

In 2013, Ryan Reynolds lent his voice to two DreamWorks Animation films: “Turbo,” where he voiced the main character, Theo (also known as Turbo), and “The Croods,” where he voiced the character Guy.

In July 2013, Blake Lively attended the New York premiere of Turbo in support of her husband, Ryan Reynolds, who lent his voice to the film’s lead character.

Blake wore a pair of nude patent leather “So Kate” pumps from Christian Louboutin, a style from the designer’s Fall 2013 collection.

We love this look from Blake, who always looks unbelievably chic.

The “So Kate” pumps are named after Kate Moss, the British supermodel who’s a longtime fan of Christian Louboutin shoes.

The polished design resembles Louboutin’s “Pigalle,” but So Kate features higher heels, making them a bit sexier.
