There were a lot of powerful performances during this year’s Academy Awards. Aside from Cynthia Erivo’s Stand Up performance and Billie Eilish’s Yesterday cover, Idina Menzel delivered a show-stopping live performance of Frozen 2’s Into the Unknown.
Norwegian singer-songwriter Aurora, who voiced the mysterious siren call that beckons Elsa to the enchanted forest, also performed with Idina.
The song was interpreted in different languages as nine other international actresses slash singers, who provided Elsa’s voice in the movie’s non-English versions, joined Idina on stage.

While Frozen 2 didn’t receive an Oscar nomination for Best Animated Feature, Into the Unknown scored a nomination for Best Original Song. However, the song lost to (I’m Gonna) Love Me Again from the Elton John biographical musical film, Rocketman.
Before belting out the song on stage in an ethereal white gown, Idina walked the red carpet with her husband Aaron Lohr, an American actor and singer who has a net worth of $5 million.

Makeup artist Matthew Vanleeuwen accentuated Idina’s features with mascara, light smokey eyeshadow, pink blush, and matching lip shade. Hairstylist Paul Norton coiffed her tresses in a center-parted loose updo with face-framing tendrils.

Before gracing the Oscars red carpet, Idina attended the Film Independent Spirit Awards on Saturday.
She wore a Michael Kors Spring 2020 peplum dress for the occasion. It features cherry crystal embroideries, puff long sleeves, and a wide belt.
Idina teamed the frock with a black purse with crystal-embellished handles and a pair of Casadei sandals.
