Heels, now part of Aldo Shoes, just released a shoe trend lookbook for Spring 2012 and as far as we know, this is their first ever. For a first lookbook, it’s pretty much a WIN because aside from being beautifully shot and filled with all sorts of gorgeous shoes, it’s also at some parts crazy hilarious.
Now we don’t know if that was intentional or not but we like to think the latter because what else could you think of while looking at this kitschy, America’s Next Top Model-ish shot depicting the animal print trend?

Here’s the shot depicting the ballet flats trend. Get a load of the model peeking out from the sewer and photoshopped in a very odd place:

The funny thing is, we featured that very same shoe in the picture, the ZigiNY Black Label ‘Bring’ studded suede pumps, here on YNS back in February and we reacted to them pretty much the same way as the women in the picture.
We really do love us some shoes!
