Jennifer Lawrence in White Tiered Mini Dress and Gianvito Rossi Cork Heels Prior to Met Gala 2015

Jennifer Lawrence was spotted outside her New York City hotel prior to attending the “China: Through the Looking Glass” Costume Institute Benefit Gala at the Metropolitan Museum of the Art on Monday.

The 24-year-old actress’ off-duty looks are usually very laid-back and typically include a pair of pants, flat shoes, and a simple top. But on Monday afternoon, she decided on a feminine and head-turning white tiered mini dress, which displayed her toned legs. The Hunger Games star looked lovely in her frock, which is a style she seldom wears for casual outings. Keeping the overall look simple, she pulled her hair up into a messy bun and wore minimal makeup while shielding her eyes behind a pair of Tom Ford cat-eye sunglasses.

The award-winning actress finished off her effortless look with a pair of Gianvito Rossi sandals featuring slingback straps with silver-tone roller buckles and grommet eyelets, open toes, covered vamps, and 4 inch cork-covered chunky heels, which are on-trend this spring.

Check out Jennifer Lawrence’s Christian Dior gown at the Met Gala 2015. The very oriental dress features a floral bodice that goes down the back of the black fitted skirt, a contrasting yoke, and a cutout detail. It was perfect for the Asian-themed event, but many thought it was a bit underwhelming considering that the actress was chosen as the co-host that evening. Jennifer finished off her look with Cartier jewels and a pair of Roger Vivier heels.
