To keep the colorless attire interesting, Jen slipped into a shiny silk tea-length dress and topped the piece with a long wool coat. She then finished the pairing with black suede ankle-strap pumps by Giuseppe Zanotti and a black fur scarf.
Jen played with textures to give the outfit depth and dimension. And in doing so, she nailed all-black dressing with panache.

If you’re color shy and prefer wearing black, you can take a cue from Jen here by mixing textures to put a little story into your looks.
We don’t know where Jen scored her fur scarf, but we do like the fact that it’s not too fluffy, unlike most fur scarves in the market.
If you fancy her neck warmer, you can easily substitute it with a velvet scarf instead. A velvet scarf would be less expensive, but it will still give you the same flavor.
Velvet can be tricky to wear. However, the material is perfect for glamming up. It has a more luxurious appearance and texture, making it better suited for formal attire.
