Kate Moss brought her signature rock-and-roll edge to the Tom Ford Spring/Summer 2027 runway show during Paris Fashion Week, mixing polished tailoring with a sexy undone twist.

She paired a light blue pinstriped shirt with a sleek black leather midi skirt and strappy stilettos, creating a cool office-siren look. I loved how she kept the outfit classic but made the styling feel much less conventional.

Barely-There Glamour: Kate Moss Steps Out in Aquazzura “You and I” Sandals

Estimated at around 5’5½”, though she has described herself as 5’6”, Moss added several inches to her frame in Aquazzura’s “You and I” sandals.

Made in Italy from glossy black patent leather, the heels had a polished simplicity that worked particularly well with her sleek leather skirt.

The sandals featured two curved straps crossing over the toes, intertwined to create small front cutouts. Their rounded open toes kept the design light and delicate, while a slim ankle strap secured the sandals with a small gold-tone buckle for a subtle touch of shine.

They sat on slender stiletto heels around 4 inches high, extending the minimalist silhouette. If you love this type of barely-there footwear, our guide to styling ankle-strap heels explains how strap placement can affect leg proportions.

The “You and I” has also become a celebrity favorite. Jennifer Lawrence wore the same Aquazzura sandals with a black Armani Privé gown at the 2025 BFI London Film Festival.

You can get these Aquazzura sandals for $1,085 at Mytheresa.

Moss has a long history with this stripped-back evening shoe style. At the 2023 Prince’s Trust Global Gala, she similarly grounded an all-black look with classic black strappy heels.

She has an even more direct connection to the barely-there sandal trend: Moss appeared in Stuart Weitzman’s Spring 2014 campaign wearing the brand’s iconic “Nudist” sandals. The Aquazzura pair updates that minimalist formula with its intertwined patent-leather toe straps.

Office Siren: Kate Moss Pairs Tom Ford Pinstripes With a Leather Pencil Skirt

Moss paired the heels with a tailored Tom Ford look, and I loved how she mixed classic office dressing with a more relaxed, sultry styling. The pieces were polished on their own, but the way she wore them made the outfit look much cooler and less formal.

She wore a light blue-and-white pinstriped silk shirt with a crisp white crepe de chine point collar, giving the top a sharp, tailored look. I particularly loved the black net-print cuffs, finished with white pleated ruffle trim and a crystal button. These details added texture and a feminine touch to the classic menswear-inspired shirt.

It was finished with a shirttail hem, although Moss tucked it into her skirt, and concealed front buttons, which she left undone to her waist, revealing a glimpse of black lingerie underneath and adding a sexy twist to the office-ready look. She also scrunched the sleeves up to her elbows, making the styling look more relaxed.

The shirt is available for $1,750 at Neiman Marcus.

Below, she wore a high-waisted black leather midi pencil skirt that hugged her slender frame. Its glossy finish and fitted shape contrasted with the lighter, softer shirt, while the longer length kept the look polished.

Rock-and-Roll Finish: Dark Sunglasses, Gold Cuffs & Tousled Waves

Moss kept her accessories simple with gold cuffs, tiny hoop earrings, and a few rings, including one featuring a green stone. She also carried a black leather clutch and wore rectangular sunglasses that added a cool, tough edge to the polished outfit.

She finished with soft pink makeup and her blonde hair styled in loose, tousled waves, keeping the look relaxed and effortlessly chic.

The Aquazzura Formula: Why Stars Love Barely-There Heels

Kate Moss’ black “You and I” heels tap into one of Aquazzura’s most recognizable red-carpet formulas: expose as much of the foot as possible, add the height of a stiletto, and keep the straps delicate enough that the shoe never overwhelms the outfit.

That same idea runs through styles such as the So Nude, Linda, and Minimalist. Nude and transparent versions can almost disappear against the foot, creating a longer visual line through the leg, while black and metallic finishes offer the same pared-back proportions with a little more definition. It is why the silhouette works just as easily beneath a dramatic couture gown as it does with Moss’ leather pencil skirt and undone pinstriped shirt.

There is a practical side to Aquazzura’s appeal, too. The brand has built its reputation around combining elegant proportions with thoughtful construction and wearability—an important distinction when a celebrity may spend hours standing, posing, and walking in stilettos.

Moss’ “You and I” sandals therefore fit into a much bigger celebrity footwear story. Scarlett Johansson has used Aquazzura’s transparent Minimalist sandals to keep an embellished Dior gown in focus; Kendall Jenner has paired skin-toned So Nude slingbacks with archival Armani; and Daisy Edgar-Jones has used metallic So Nude heels as a quiet counterpoint to sculptural Vivienne Westwood satin. Different clothes, same strategy: plenty of height, very little visual weight.
