Kerry Washington brought the high shine at last Wednesday’s 2011 ESPY Awards with this shimmery, glittery silver Jenny Packham Fall 2011 dress:

We love that Kerry didn’t just stop with the dress but really went ALL OUT with the shine and paired her frock with equally high wattage makeup and accessories!

Kerry wore silvery grey eye makeup, silver H. Stern jewelry, carried a silver hard case clutch and cinched her dress with a  silver beaded belt.

On her feet are these Nikko II metallic heel and cap toe grey leather pumps from new-shoe-designer-on-the-block Gio Diev:

Bulgarian-born, New York-based Gio Metodiev is the man behind the Gio Diev label. He started out on the PR side of fashion but found the call of the creative/design side too strong to ignore.

Natural instinct told him to head to Northern Italy where he studied and practiced the shoe-making process right on the factory floor. Self-taught and self-funded, he was eventually successful in producing the first Gio Diev shoe collection which includes the Nikko II pumps seen on Kerry Washington.

The Gio Diev Fall 2011 collection’s strong lines and confident styles were inspired by female warriors. Gio Diev shoes aren’t available online yet as of writing, but do you think these stand a strong chance of competing with the Louboutins and the Jimmy Choos when it comes to dressing celebrities?

Gio Diev pumps and sandals are priced between $700 to $800 while boots are $950 to $2,000. The price tag is most definitely for celebrities but as for whether we’ll really see more of these on the red carpet, well, only time — or celebs’ stylists and publicists — will tell.
