Repeat outfit offender? More like pro outfit repeater! At this year’s Academy Awards, Rita Moreno re-wore the gown she wore to the 1962 Oscars, which is the year she won the award for Best Supporting Actress.

The 86-year-old said in her red carpet interview that she had the gown made by Filipino designer Pitoy Moreno (no relation) while she was in the Philippines filming the 1963 movie “Cry of Battle.” She had no idea she was going to win an award, but she had the gown made and flew to the U.S. for one day just in case.

If you’re wondering how the “West Side Story” actress has kept the Japanese obi sash fabric on the 56-year-old gown looking so brilliant all throughout these years, both Rita and interviewer Ryan Seacrest were wondering the same thing themselves. Watch:

Rita rocked her vintage gown with an altered velvet strapless bodice, which was originally a bateau neckline. She accessorized with a black velvet headband, black velvet opera gloves, and eye-catching gold jewelry on her ears, neckline and wrist.

Rita Moreno is one of only 12 people to have won an Emmy, Grammy, Oscar and Tony award.
