“When I approached him, I was like, ‘Hey, I’m playing Janeane.’ And out of nowhere, three huge bodyguards surrounded him. They thought maybe I was a fan who had gotten loose on the set. I was like, ‘I am so sorry. I am playing Janeane in the film.’ And they were like: ‘Oh, okay.’ And they sort of parted the seas and let him speak to me.”
“He’s hilarious,” she added about the American rapper. “He is always cracking jokes and a real goofball. I had a great connection with him, and he added one of our Boomkat songs [‘Wastin’ My Time’] to the ‘8 Mile’ soundtrack.”
