Oh, to be Willow Smith. She’s rich, she’s famous, and she’s Hollywood royalty. So, when Karl Lagerfeld photographed her for a fashion spread in V Magazine, not only did she have the audacity to wear clothes she brought along from her own closet, but she also had the power to get away with it.

The clothes and shoes she brought along with her? Boxer shorts with ’90s-style big brand name prints, slouchy men’s-cut jeans, and Valentino patent leather oxfords. Weird and experimental? Yes, but remember, she’s only 13. Nevermind being photographed by Chanel’s famous designer for an international fashion magazine; what we wish we also had is this much freedom to experiment and explore our own personal style when we were that age.
