The svelte and sexy Fergie was spotted in the ‘Palma’ from Gio Diev at the opening of 1 Oak nightclub in Vegas on New Year’s Eve. I love the simplicity of this metallic strappy sandal, and I think it’s a great dressy heel.

The American singer, songwriter, fashion designer, television host, and actress paired the sandals with a gold mirrored strapless cocktail dress from Nicolas Jebran and a gold Giuseppe Zanotti evening clutch.

While I have a soft spot for over the top pieces like this cocktail dress, I think a pair of more subdued black heels would have been a better choice for Fergie.

If Fergie had chosen the ‘Palma 2’ as opposed to the metallic version, I think it would have added some contrast and balance to her outfit. The ‘Palma 2’ would have also worked with Kristen’s dress. Do you agree?
