Kate Middleton in Blue Denim Stuart Weitzman ‘Corkswoon’ Wedges for 2012 Olympics Torch Relay

Stuart Weitzman gets another round of royal treatment. Yep, yep, apparently Kate Middleton, otherwise also known as the Duchess of Cambridge, is quite a fan of the label. Last spring, while attending the Audi Polo Challenge, Kate wore the Stuart Weitzman “MINX” wedges with her blue shirtdress.

This summer, the Princess has picked herself another staple from the shoe brand for those sports related events – the Corkswoon wedges. She wore the shoes to the 2012 Olympics Torch Relay held in London last week.

Kate definitely knows how to pick her extras, doesn’t she? And she certainly knows how and when to dress down.

Those cork and denim wrapped pump wedges are the perfect finish to an ultra casual sportshirt-and-skinnies attire. It’s straightforward, unpretentious, and very comfortable. Also, it’s definitely a much sexier and more polished alternative to say, flats or sneakers.

Of course, with the whole world watching (and copying) her every outfit, it’s no surprise to find out that as of the moment, the ‘Corkswoon’ wedges in denim are now almost out of stock at Amazon, Nordstrom, and Zappos. You can also buy them in a range of other colors.
