Demi Lovato sports a rocker-chick look most of the time. Still, when she stepped out in New York City to attend the Cosmopolitan for Latinas’ Fun, Fearless Latina Awards, she showed that she could also be gorgeous in a feminine way.

The 21-year-old singer made a refreshing change in style, swapping her typical black outfit with a fun and flirty mini dress from Fausto Puglisi’s Spring 2014 collection.

Her dress, which features a flared skirt, capped sleeves, and a plunging neckline, proved that she’s indeed the “Fun, Fearless Latina of the Year.”

This is undoubtedly one of Demi Lovato’s best looks! Her dress was very feminine in style and color, balanced by the touch of Gothic provided by her two crucifix necklaces and some black rings by Lynn Ban.

Demi’s makeup was flawless, with smoky eye shadow, dark liner, and glossy nude lipstick.

Earlier that day, she shared a few Instagram photos of her newly dyed hair — natural brown with lavender and silver ombre — which she styled in an edgy updo for the occasion.

Demi layered a cross and ankh necklace together and adorned her fingers with several rings. All her jewelry pieces are by Lynn Ban, a rising designer known for her edgy, industrial-themed creations. Lynn Ban’s A-list clientele includes Rihanna, Nicole Scherzinger, and Madonna.

Complementing Demi’s dress were black suede sandals by Miu Miu. These sandals feature an asymmetrical strappy design with scalloped outer side panels, peep toes, back zip fastenings, and heels that measure about 4.5 inches.

She tattooed “Let Go & Let God” two years ago on her feet.
