Karrueche Tran has a multi-ethnic background and seems proud of her ability to bridge different cultures.
Born and raised in Los Angeles, California, her mother, Cindy Adamson, is ethnically Vietnamese. Her father, DeVon Minters, is African American.

“Like, hello, my father’s black!,” the half-black, half-Vietnamese former soap star told Complex in June 2018.
“Race sometimes is an interesting topic. I see it so many times where they’re like, you’re saying the N word…? It’s like I’m not Asian enough, I’m not black enough. Come on!”

While Karrueche Tran has not been particularly open about her childhood, it does not seem like her parents lived together when she was growing up.
“I grew up with a lot of diversity. My mother is Vietnamese, my father is black, my god-mom who helped raise me is Jamaican and my stepfather is from England. All of them had friends from all over the place, as well. That was normal to me, and it’s who I am. Living here helps you adapt in so many ways,” she said in a 2019 interview with Air Jordan.

“A lot of people don’t really know what race I am just by looking at me,” Tran told Stylecaster about her ethnicity in June 2018.
“Growing up, it was difficult identifying with either or knowing which culture I felt like I belonged to. But I truly feel like I am both. That’s what I am. I’m half and half.”
In December 2015, Karrueche Tran partied with other celebrities at the Casper + NCLUSIVE Winter Wonderland event hosted by Zendaya at Stardust Lounge & Rooftop at the Beverly Hilton in California.

The then 27-year-old model kept it simple, but chic, in a winter white ensemble comprised of a midriff-baring ribbed crop top and a pair of high-waisted jeans.

She layered a gray tweed coat over her sexy white outfit as an added warm cover-up.

Karrueche kept her accessories to a minimum but brought a hint of modern edge to the look with a pair of asymmetric booties.

She wore her raven locks down with an off-center parting and completed her look with neutral makeup — including a swipe of nude lipstick.

Chris Brown’s ex-girlfriend added a couple of inches to her petite 5’1” frame by wearing the Alexander Wang “Lys” boots.

These mule-style booties are made of polished leather and have extended high-cut vamps, an open back, adjustable ankle straps, pointed toes, and 4.25-inch ostrich-effect heels.

Unfortunately, these Alexander Wang booties are already sold out. However, you can find some new and interesting styles at Farfetch, Shopbop, and Net-A-Porter.
